Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will provide a broad range of Human Resources services to the school district. You are familiar and comfortable with a high performance culture where Human Resources is seen as a strategic partner to the organization and where the district goals guide your work.
Your strong generalist human resources and labour relations background in a multi-union environment will prepare you well for this role. You have successfully implemented and delivered a wide range of Human Resources organizational initiatives, including recruitment, and wellness and disability support, and you are comfortable and confident in sharing leadership with and coordinating and delivering knowledge to others.
You work well with multiple stakeholders and are able to build respectful and productive relationships with staff at all levels of the organization. With your superior communication and strong relational skills, you can confidently offer support and guidance to supervisors on collective agreement administration and interpretation You know how to use data and metrics to support decision making and you are well versed in best practice HR. Comfortable working independently or as a contributor to a team, you can manage competing demands, prioritize your time, and build strong, positive alliances with others.
You have a university degree or relevant diploma, and bring 7-10 years of progressive and ideally multi-union public sector Human Resources. Ideally, you have completed your CPHR certification.
